RE: 50% off Halloween Candy/Seasonal Merch Purchase of $10+ With Digital Coupon Download @ Kroger/Food4Less, Exp 10-22-17
I did this deal this morning at Food4Less and it worked flawlessly. You don’t have to do separate $10 orders. As long as you get $10 or more, it will take off 50% from everything.

Actually not much of a deal. I was at Kroger’s Food4Less and a family size Cheez-Its were $5.99, so the price would only be dropped to $4 after digital coupon. I guess it is an OK deal if you like Cheez-Its.

RE: AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards
@vegasvegan said in AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards:
@marcopolomle Thanks got the offer. Noticed a little different wording on this one.
You need to buy by 1/31/18 but points wont be dolled out until 3/2/18 (within 90 days).
I’m guessing the month extra is to try and deter people from from cancelling Prime and keeping points.
Even though you can get a refund if you don’t use any prime benefits. Usually says they will be dolled out at the time the offer expires (within 90 days)Now I have to find out if it will work on Gift of Prime. Doesn’t exclude it by name but does say “does not apply to other Amazon memberships or subscriptions including but not limited to monthly Amazon Prime membership, Amazon Fresh, Prime Video or Prime Student”
Even though in the terms it says you won’t get your 5,000 Membership Rewards points until within 90 days of 3/2/18, I just got my 5,000 MR points this morning (I subscribed to Prime 4 days ago).

RE: AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards
@kdn102 You just go to www.amazon.com/pin and it will take you to Amazon Video Settings page and on that page it will give you the option to set a 5 digit PIN. Scroll towards the bottom of the page, Enter a 5 digit PIN, Once you click “Save” the changes go into effect immediately. You also have to click “Yes” on the “PIN on Purchase” option (the default is the “No” setting). I tested it out minutes after I updated with a PIN and Yes on PIN on Purchase and sure enough it asks for the PIN when trying to buy video content. So now I can open video content freely in Amazon Prime and the only time it will ask me for a PIN will be for content requiring additional payment.
By the way, please note this is only for video content purchases. I also have an Amazon Echo and I have turned off voice purchasing already. You have to go to alexa.amazon.com and click on “Settings” and then click on “Voice Purchasing” and you can turn voice purchasing on or off there.
So happy to say my Amazon ecosystem components are childproof.
The free video content on Prine isn’t as extensive as I had hoped, but when you combine this video service with the music service and with two day Prime shipping, $56 for a year is a steal. I also have Hulu, so with both services combined there are a lot of shows to watch, with some overlap of course. Thanks OP.

One thing I noticed about Amazon Prime is many of the videos on their service you have to buy on an episode by episode basis or an entire season basis, so not only do you have to pay once for Prime but once you pay you have to pay again to get some content.
I have Amazon Prime on my Samsung big screen smart TV. Does anyone know if my 5 year old gets a hold of the remote can he just buy episodes at the press of a button or is their some PIN that has to be entered first? I have a large banked Amazon gift card balance on my account but I would rather not use it up by having my son buy shows without my knowledge at the press of a button.
You can set a pin when using Fire Stick or Fire TV, but I don’t know how it will work on your Samsung. I’m assuming you will still have to go a few pages, like 3, to finalize the purchase.
I called up Amazon one more time just to make sure what the first rep told me was correct about not being able to set a PIN for video purchases and sure enough the first rep was wrong. The second rep I called transferred me to the Amazon Video department and there was an easy way to set a 5 digit password onto my account to prevent unauthorized purchases. The rep told me that when he chooses free content that is included with my Amazon Prime membership it won’t ask for a PIN. The PIN will only be required for content that costs additional money. That gives me some peace of mind. Now I can let my son use the remote again.
