@mistercheap I use denture cleaner to clean household items. Toss it in pan w/ warm water and let item soak. Works well on plastic. Also good for cleaning toilet bowl.

these IP offers are killin’ me.
Got one on Sunday for $24.99 after KC…
Have a $50 Target gc that I could cash out…
decisions, decisions…I’ve noticed your repeat IP purchases and am soooo0 curious about what you’re doing with all of then. I mean, after 3 or 4…
If you’ve opened a catering business or restaurant, let us know so that we can congratulate you.

OK, so I bought and kept one for myself. Its 3 qt and too small for some things.
I purchased a 6 qt for $49 (?) and resold it for $70.
I got another 6 qt on Sunday from Kohls. Net $24.99 after KC. Haven’t picked it up yet… Should I keep it for myself since sometimes I’d like a larger one? Gift it? Resell it? For $25 how could I not?
I got “free” $50 Target gc cashing out RA bonus cash. I could buy IP from Target and resell it for $50-$60.
I receive $15 Amazon gc for doing taste testing at Keurig. $45 in gc in 3 wks. I make 2 Amazon purchases a year for myself. Could buy IP and resell for $50-$60.
decisions, decisions…

RE: BIC Gelocity pens Free After rebate up to $16-- via mail in submission ends 9/7posted in Expired Deals
I had a major brain fart… I knew better, I even posted about it but I used Rewards to pay for an order of 2 boxes pens, $13.45 ea. Packing List format now shows Rewards used as coupon applied. So I brought pens to store to return/rebuy. Return went fine. Received a balance coupon for the Rewards. Bought the pens again. They rang up 50¢/box of 12 because they were clearanced from stores. In the end I paid the same as it would have cost me in postage to submit the rebate but not what I was trying to do.

Today received emails with 30% off Q valid until Nov. 30, 2019.
5 weeks of 30% off.
Coupon code is the same in all the emails so while the Q says “one time use” it appears to be a generic code. I presume its multi-use.
In store only. -

RE: Expired: Staples 11/10-11/16/19: $4 BACK for recycled ink cartridge (limit 20 if you are a Premier or a Staples Plus member, 10 for everyonbe else)posted in Expired Deals
@mistercheap I think “shaft” is a little harsh. Most experienced recyclers did it at the end of the month. When the surprise weekly promos disappeared I thought about recycling earlier in the month but really nothing to gain by doing that. I recall having double ink recycling in a week that spanned end of the month and beginning of a new month. We got double for 2 mo. doing that. It’s the only time I’ve recycled at the beginning of a month.

@mistercheap it was $29 for Amazon Prime Day and a month (?) after. In that thread someone who had Plus wanted to renew for $29 but couldn’t. Can’t recall if he posted how long he needed to wait before he was eligible for a new member deal again.

If you spend > $75 on ink this week you’ll earn 25% back in Rewards instead of the usual 5%.
Unlike the online offers this one B&M only includes HP.
Recently all the online ink deals have excluded HP. -

RE: Staples $15 Cashback on $30 thru RetailMeNotposted in Expired Deals
OT related development.
One of my RMN orders included 2 Mead 5 Star notebooks as filler because there are 2 separate SavingStar rebates for buying 2 Mead 5 Star notebooks. My eReceipt shows 2 Mead notebooks but what the store gave me was 2 Staples Acell Durable Cover notebooks. When I tried to enter the UPC’s, they were not in the S* data base. Called Staples Corporate. Its the same SKU for both the Mead brand and the Staples brand. Its not the store’s fault, they don’t have the Mead brand. They pulled the correct SKU. So they’re shipping 2 more notebooks that hopefully will be Mead brand and I’ll be able to submit for S*.If I again receive Staples Accel brand (which is cheaper than Mead 5 Star) I can return them and get my money back but more to the point, isn’t it illegal to advertise a product and ship a less expensive substitute? If not for trying to enter UPC on S* I wouldn’t have known about the substitution.

So with a Staples Plus Membership, is the Ink/Toner Cartridge Purchase requirement at Staples waived when recycling Ink/Toner Cartridges for $2 a Cartridge, or is the only difference that the threshold number of cartridges is increased from 10 Cartridges to 20 Cartridges for being a Staples Plus Member?
The ink purchase requirement of $30 every 6 mo is NOT waived.
This: the only difference that the threshold number of cartridges is increased from 10 Cartridges to 20 Cartridges for being a Staples Plus Member?
A few prices are cheaper if you have Plus.

If you’re still playing this game, today’s a good day to get the $100 pts back on $100 purchase.
Prices dropped overnight and RMN cash back doubled.
I’m getting the Dewalt 20v cordless drill/driver set. RR $159, was $149 yesterday. Today $119
I have $15 FC wyb $100 to use but pretty good deal even without that.
I’m looking at $104 on gc, getting back $100 FC and $10.40 from RMN. Then have 4 wks to put the $100 FC back onto the gc. -

@ukedog Yeah, I was all set to get more 42 pc socket sets then I clicked on link and saw limited selection. I was thinking I’d be paying $29.99 and getting back $25 but they made it easier. Some of the stuff is really useless. The drill bit set is always $24.99 so they raised it to $25. I can’t unload it for $3 at yard sale. I have a stack of the mini pliers sets from when they were $22 and I had $20 in FC.

Stores are too far away for me to redeem points weekly. They’re counting on people not making a weekly trip for $10. I suppose one could order online for store pick up and make bimonthly trips to KM of monthly trips to Sears.

I heard more than a year ago that the Auto Centers would be owned by another company. They’re already sort of on their own.
I’m going in the opposite direction right now. I have no points and about $500 in gc. I’m going to use gc for the points back offers to get as much stuff as I can before stock gets too low. Get the points, turn them back into gc and keep spending down the gc that way until I run out of gc or they close the stores. Sears is filing but no word on KM right?

bummed. After @lo pointed out the $75/$75 was good for lawn & garden I tried to order the Gorilla Heavy Duty Garden Cart. Can’t find anywhere within 500 miles that has it in stock and its not available for shipping.

RE: Tips and tricks from an eBay seller (edit: will update original post till we get a wiki)posted in Online Auctions
The Staples return w/o receipt is partially dependent on the amount of the return.
Sometimes I’ve needed to return something paid for with Staples Visa Rebate Card.
Since they can’t refund money to the card, SM has done a return w/o receipt and given me a Staples gc instead.
I asked about being “blacklisted” from returning things and he told me that 1) I don’t do it that often and 2) the dollar amount of my return was too low to matter.I would never buy something at one store to return to a different company.
I buy things with the intent of returning when I’m “moving stock”. For drug store deal I might need to purchase 6 widgets at once but there are only 2 are in each store.
I’ll buy 2 at 2 different stores, paying full price (no rewards card) and charge to cc.
Then go to store #3, return the 4 from other stores and buy all 6 together to earn whatever I’m trying to earn. -
RE: Tips and tricks from an eBay seller (edit: will update original post till we get a wiki)posted in Online Auctions
@ma-barker I took your advice very seriously and opted to sell my TRU gc on the Bay.
Had 6 $25 gc. Listed 2 sets of 3 ($75 ea) for $66 ea. Most listings gave 10% discount, ie $22.50 for $25 gc. It was worth $1.50 to ship 3 at once vs. 3 separately, ie $66 vs. $67.50I copied a listing where seller posted “gift cards will be shipped 2 business days after payment to avoid fraudulent charges”.
I photographed the back sides of the cards showing silver on the PINS had not been removed.
I photocopied receipts showing cards had been activated and enclosed copy w/ the cards.I created shipping label immediately so qualified for TRS discount, but chose mailing date 2 days later. I offered refund if cards were returned with PIN’s still hidden and funds present.
I also really lucked out. One buyer bought both sets a few hours after I listed.
I checked him out. He had >3000 positive feedback. He’d bought a lot of TRU gc from other sellers and they’d all left him positive FB. He sells high priced Lego sets.Raise was offering $18 for $25 gc plus I would have paid to ship cards to an online seller.
After shipping, fees and 10% TRS discount I made $18.75/card but I have the money and +FB. -
