@dangeruss Yes, I only use it in person, inside at the counter (providing I have $1.09 in cash on me).

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@ctgolfer Wow, no installments, but quick points evaporation (7 days)! Ya gotta have a plan ready to burn that store money–and at Sears online only it seems (no Kmart, Lands End, etc.). Another self-liquidation twist!
Btw this could work out ok for folks without a local Sears, but who are SYW rewards members. The $5 extra needed to hit free shipping ($35) could be covered by SYWR points, whether by sweeps/WinIt, “freecash”, etc. Both for initial deal and the points cash-out…

RE: Staples $10/$20 CRT valid B&M only 7/8-7/28/2018 YMMV
I tried using a $10-off-20 register print coupon on a clearance headphone set ($21) this week, and it didn’t work. First time I’ve not had success with clearance item counting as “regular price” (vs. sale) item. Anyone else notice this change?
Oops, just noticed the JBL exclusion—that’s likely the reason. Hope so anyway…

RE: McDonald's - $1 Sandwich w/ App - Excludes Signature Crafted and Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese - Valid 1x/day through 9/30/18
@ctgolfer I’m seeing concern here about undercooked chicken, but IMO the biggest risk is actually lettuce—romaine included (recent national news item). Just today a new story about McDonalds salads.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@mrvietnam Dude, that last instore-offer is crazy! I’m so missing my local Kmart store. You have to marvel how Kmart/Sears has opted for a “self liquidation” method over the classic “hire professional liquidators”. That is, up to the point that stores announce a closing date.

RE: McDonald's - $1 Sandwich w/ App - Excludes Signature Crafted and Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese - Valid 1x/day through 9/30/18
This has become one of my favorite deals. Each time I use my cell phone to scan this coupon at the checkout register, there is a look of disbelief. For example, taking the Artisan Grilled Chicken sandwich from $5.45 to $1.09, including tax.
I just hope all the McDonalds artisans working in the back can keep their collective spirits up!

Best Buy: Insignia Virtual Reality Viewer, brown, $0.99 (was $9.99)
Where brown = cardboard, LOL. One of the “deals of the day”.
Insignia Virtual Reality ViewerAs a joke, I got one of these for my son at Christmas two years ago, and he actually liked it!
It’s the perfect answer to folks who parade about in public (mall, gym, etc) wearing $175 Beats headphones! -
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@mrvietnam There’s all kind of stuff besides just those categories, e.g. home (kitchen, bedding, rugs, etc), sporting goods/outdoors, and so on. The trick is they’ve pretty much eliminated the consumable stuff you have to buy regardless.
So, unless you’ve got a local Kmart store nearby to burn those 3 installments of $20 in points on those very consumables, e.g. paper goods, grocery items, and various other “gotta buy regardless”, it may not be such a hot deal. Unfortunately my local Kmart shut down last year.

Nice! Still makes 270 cups (a little optimistic there). I’m guessing more like 240. EDIT
Got my $10 SYWR points for previous $11 order brought to car, used w/ other sweeps pointsFREE COFFEE!

RE: Walmart Clearance YMMV forum for in-store deals
@itsfriday I used my $5 drill today, along with another B&D 20V Li-Ion drill I’ve had for 2 years, on a home remodeling project. The new drill worked fine, and it saved me from having to swap out bits. The $5 one is actually a near clone of my B&D drill, both having keyless chucks, adjustable torque settings, and a slide-on battery pack. Maybe a tad more arcing at the brushes near the back of the drill… Anyway, I’m happy. And no, I wouldn’t expect it to last long if I used it daily to screw down deck boards, etc.
Generally, I prefer Makita power tools if price doesn’t enter into it. I realize some folk bleed yellow (an allegiance that always baffles me).

Grilled Artisan Chicken
Is Mcdonald’s artisan grilled chicken good for you?
At a price of $4.59, the Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich holds a fair value. It’s quite healthy too clocking in at just 360 calories, 6 grams of fat, and a filling 32 grams of protein. Apr 2, 2015 -

RE: Walmart Clearance YMMV forum for in-store deals
Hyper Tough AQ75032G 20V Lithium Ion Drill With Battery And Charger, $5 YMMV | Check to see if it’s nearby you using this Brickseek page
NOTE: Stores may have an identical-looking Hyper Tough 20V drill that is NOT on clearance, model AQ75034G, for $24.84. It has a different UPC code. You need to look closely at them in store. Fwiw, I found the clearance ones on a top shelf, pretty much out of view.
From what I can see, the only difference is the spec on the 20V Li-Ion battery: 1.3Ah for the clearance one, 1.5Ah for the full price one. However, the battery with my $5 drill was labeled 1.5Ah. The main thing is that both are HYPER TOUGH! Lol

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@my4mainecoons It’s such a weird game on most of these marketplace SYWR points-back deals. The sweet spot, of course, is to buy something right at or just over $40, such that on paper you have that “free” store money to spend at Sears and/or Kmart. Then you look at the prices of their stuff, which have been jacked up 2, 3, or often 4 times what the actual market value is. I saw a number of items priced at $39.99, along with a dearth of low-priced (under $10) to pad your order. Sigh. I scoped out refrigerator water filters, but came up short for the type I need.
I’d invest more time if there was still a nearby Kmart store–you can always get grocery and drugstore type items there, and at reasonable prices too. I’ve already got most everything I want that Sears sells at this point.

RE: $200 Lowe's eGift Card for $180 @ PayPal Digital Gifts
@ctgolfer Lowe’s gift card via Krogers are sold out
Yeah, but you don’t get “Fuel Points” like you do buying a couple of $100 Lowe’s eGift cards via Kroger (actually, Gift Card Mall). Especially if you have the 4X fuel points coupon loaded onto your Kroger account. On the other hand, you do have to deal with the Gift Card Mall. They can be downright squirrely, rejecting your order without providing any reason.Come to think of it, that physical $100 Lowe’s Gift Cards for $90 deal you recently posted looks pretty good.

RE: $100 Lowe's Physical Gift Card For Only $90!!! - FREE 1st Class Mail Delivery by SVM @ eBay - Limit 3 Cards Per Household
@ctgolfer You posted both, so you probably know this…this one is a plastic card that gets snail-mailed to you.
The other one you linked to is “email delivery”, meaning you typically get it the same day, sometimes a couple hours after paying.I actually like the physical (plastic) cards better, as I’m less likely to lose/misplace them, and I suspect they’re slightly more secure.

RE: KMART - Spend $30+, get $30 back in points (some exclns) (points paid out $10 per week for 3 weeks)
Oops, – looks like I’m on the sidelines here! Sorry for the noise.
Ok guys, before I bite on this, has anyone seen how long each $10 in points payment is valid? I’m willing to gamble that Kmart will be around for another 2 or 3 weeks, when I finally accrue all $30 worth, such that I can add only few dollars/points more to get that free shipping. But if it’s one of those “points good for 7 days” deals, I’m definitely on the sidelines here. -
