The Serve Card has a monthly fee, so I need to do all 10 transactions on it in a 30 day period and them empty the card to avoid the monthly fee. When I do use my Serve Card I will report back if I get the credit or not, but I am confident I will.

Understood. There is always the possibility of a clawback, but because it would be for so little money I’m not worried about it. I shop at a Vietnamese grocery store and would be buying the groceries anyway. Personally I think in this circumstance a clawback would be possible, but doubtful.

Got a bag of diatomaceous earth from garden center then 3 bags of chicken hearts from the farm. Waiting for more chicken hearts to become available. Just a FYI: I already maxed out the offer on my Blue Cash Preferred card, but I have also been successful in doing this offer with my Serve card. I have made 5 transactions so far on Serve and I continue to get my $5 credits like clockwork. I got my most recent $5 credit this morning for a transaction that posted yesterday. So it looks like with high confidence, if you have Serve at least you can do this offer twice (unless at some point they decide to claw back on the double dip).

One way to tell if you will get the $5 back from the Am Ex promo is how it is billed on your credit card you have attached to Fluz. If it is billed as Fluz Fluz or FluzApp, it won’t. If it is billed as FluzPay, you will get the $5 promo. Here are some examples that bill as FluzApp and you will get no credit:

Just as a side note, when buying Walmart gift cards they always round up to the next whole dollar amount. So if you buy a $10.01 gift card they will issue you an $11 gift card, BUT ONLY BILL YOU FOR $10.01! I would vary the amounts though and not always buy $10.01 as that could raise flags.

I went to an independent pharmacy today that came up on my local AMEX map. They sell candy and greeting cards and small gifts, but most things were overpriced. I didn’t get anything. I went to a grocery store that has about 5-6 local stores in their chain and did some shopping. I used my AMEX card there just to use it. I got an email later that I got the $5 back from the grocery store. It had never come up on the original search on the AMEX map.

Good question. You can also register for additional user cards, up to one offer per person. You will have to register the additional user card for their own AMEX login in order to register for this offer.Remember the enrollment deadline is 8/23.

If there is no way to register for offers on a Serve sub-account than I would say they would not be able to qualify for this offer. Long ago I got Serve cards for several family members. Usually I just put them away and don’t use them, but every once in a while when there is a good Am Ex dea, such as this one, I pull them out and use them to do the deal multiple times.

I confirmed the offer works on bluebird as well. With Amex there is almost instant notification, but with bluebird there is at least a day delay in notifying you of the credit. We’ll just hope there is no claw back. I believe bluebird and amex credit cards are different products that Amex will consider separate.

I really doubt that would happen. You get $5 back with the promo on a $10+ purchase. It has been well-documented that purchases such as the one you proposed only get $5. What you can do though when you have a $20 purchase at a merchant is pay $10 of it at a time, then you would get $10 back. That is impossible to do with Fluz.

Ace Hardware was part of a Shop Small deal a few years back, but they weren’t showing on the map this year. I stopped in today, spent $14, and got $5 back. If you have their rewards card, they email and mail out coupons every so often. I had a $7 off $20 to use today.

In that case do a fluz transaction or use another merchant so you don’t lose the offer.
