Do you know your store’s grocery manager? Your store probably doesn’t have 10 packages of Impossible Burgers on hand but they can order them for you. Then you place your order to pick up on the day they arrive. (I think your wife eats them.). They’re compact and freeze well.

I have read reports of these types of criminal groups targeting a store and doing a carefully coordinated theft attack - get in, grab, get out in just a few minutes. They’ve undoubtedly scouted the store and diagrammed the aisles, decided which thieves will hit each aisle, what merchandise to grab first, etc. The callous disregard and the danger to shoppers who are there during the attack is frightening.

Given this change, will rewards selections for grocery dollars (ie, currently redeem 12 rewards (soon to be 1200 points) get $20 off) still remain, given 1200 points will be worth $12 on the auto convert thing? Safeway has been my ‘go to’ store for years. From what I’ve experienced, the rewards selection for dollars off groceries (e.g. 12 rewards for $20) wasn’t always available – I would see it only during the holidays. Then they seemed to make it permanent a couple of years ago. (It’s not just for Fresh Pass subscribers)

Since the grocery item redemption selections varies from month to month, I wouldn’t be surprised if the dollars off groceries option disappears – especially since they are introducing the ‘automatic cash off’ option.

UPC is not required for NBPR, just the receipt. UPC is only needed if beer purchase is required (UPC of the beer)

Typically very quick, have gotten my plastic cards in about two weeks and digitial cards as soon as one week. And yes, typically they tell you your rebate is in final processing if valid, otherwise if rejected.

The updated list included a few cereals I’ve bought recently. Some pages are showing a starting Best By date of 1/11/24 (the date of the new recall list), where the previous list said “all dates up to xxx”. It wasn’t clear to me whether that date is just the first non-expired date the announcement will cover.

It now has some stupid games that reward points per minute of playing. Have to download the games first. I got a few thousand points after mindlessly playing a few. You don’t even need to return the Quaker products to the store you purchased them from. Just click on the link in the article in the OP (I copied and pasted it below for the lazy) and you can tell them what you have, take a picture of the receipt OR the products, and they will mail you a check for the purchase amount. If you don’t have a receipt, the purchase amount is self-declared. I should be getting back around $20 (eventually).

well, I guess I earned them on the 4x/3x points boosters. they really should give you a 60 to 90 days window, it you earn 50 points on 8/31 and they’re gone on 9/1, that’s a joke IMO.

From a deal hunting stand point, any store closures in my area hurts. I’ve often hit just about all my stores in a 5-7 mile radius looking for MM clearance deals or weekly deals where it’s an oddball item that any given store has maybe 2 or 3 on the shelf. So if you don’t get there first and there’s other deal hunters, you may not score any at all. I’ve benefitted from circulating amongst all my stores in certain situations.

Yes, but not sure who issues the tax document, if Paypal issues it, then it’s still something you have to address on your return. If you read the reddit thread I posted about Ibotta, it seems to indicate it comes from Paypal and RMN is in the same boat as IB as a cash back rebate set up.

yes, but that is typically confined to inner-city stores. this is more across the board and their sales/profits are off for other reasons beyond the shoplifting issue. Many retailers have already been closing stores in areas where retail theft is a problem, ie, Walmart and Target.

Anyone still doing this? I’ve probably gotten at least 50 cans of this for free, but I suspect the gravy train is coming to an end. Kroger had them all on close out today so they might be discontinuing it. But that might not even matter as I tried to get another one using an Incognito window like I have for the last 9 months, but this time they asked for a phone number to text and said I had reached my limit. I still have a few coupons saved, so I’ll try to get a few more, but looks like this is over. It was crazy how I could keep doing it but I guess they finally figured it out.
