Just wondering what others experiences have been.

I had trouble with it but finally made it work by switching to Google Maps, waiting until it found my location and showed it on the map, then switching to the BK app. It seems the location has to be nudged along and the the BK app can’t initiate a search. It also took it quite a while to go to the order mode once it said I had the coupon. But it eventually worked. My wife and I have done it the last two days by creating new accounts and signing into them. That’s enough hamburgers for a while for us.

While the item page for the Farberware Knife set clearly shows “$15 Rebate Available”, when you click on the rebate form link, the offer for the knife set on the rebate form, shows that the rebate is only valid through 11/24. 😬

Based upon my experiences with JCPenney, I’d say it’s a big roll of the dice to expect them to honor the rebate, even though it shows the link for the rebate on the product page. YMMV.

Target is again deactivating some gift cards purchased on Sunday’s 10% off sale. Similar things happened in 2017 and 2016.

In the past, it was only when multiple cards were purchased with the same credit card that they deactivated them, I assume this time is the same. Not sure if they track across stores or only when the same card was used at the same store more multiple times. If you ordered more than one $300 gift card online, it’s possible they’ll deactivate those duplicates as well.

All cards got activated at 10 am this morning, and some got subsequently deactivated. I don’t think everyone who bought more than one $300 gift card on the same credit card is getting deactivated, probably only the heavy hitters.

Last time they deactivated when people used a Target gift card to buy another Target gift card, and then didn’t refund the original gift card. They just stole the money and ran.
