If you have a competitively priced gas station close by (like Arco is for me), you may want to buy your gift cards at a gas station instead of buying a Visa. A Visa just breaks even for you, but if you have a gas station that is competitively priced then this could turn into a $6 MM (for each $100 purchased) for you as gas station cards don’t require activation fees.

I believe the fee for a $100 prepaid Visa or MasterCard is $5.95, so using Am Ex Blue Preferred which gives you 6% back would cover the fee amount and earn you a 40 cent gas discount on one fill up up to 25 gallons to use in April for free. That’s a good deal. I think I will do it. I live by a Food4Less store but they only accept cash for gift cards, so I will have to drive to Ralphs instead (They take credit cards there.) aria let load amount gift cards are excluded and yes, the coupons can still be loaded now if you haven’t loaded them yet. I will get 2 $100 cards on two separate Kroger accounts that I have. Thanks.
By the way, I would recommend getting a Visa card over a MasterCard as they are a little more secure because they don;t use sequential account numbers on their prepaid cards as MasterCard does.
This coupon is good for UNLIMITED USE, so even though $100 is the biggest denomination you can get, you can buy $100 cards as many times as you like.

RE: Updated 3/6/18 with even cheaper rate code: Southern California residents: 52 Sundays of the print Los Angeles Times plus Unlimited Digital Access for $9.88 (19 cents a Sunday)posted in Expired Deals
@cheerfuljam said in Southern California residents: 52 Sundays of the print Los Angeles Times plus Unlimited Digital Access for $19.76 (38 cents a Sunday):
When I called with the promotion code, the rep told me the rate is $9.99 for 1 yr. Did they drop it from $19.76? I am in the Irvine area.
Interesting. When I go online and enter the promo code it still tells me it is $19.76. I guess there is a better rate out there ($9.99/year of Sunday delivery), but how to get it. I will try to call (versus entering it online) and see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it. I think the rep just gave you the best price available, regardless of the promo code. Does anyone know the promo code for the $9.99 rate?

RE: Get a $5 Walmart E-Gift Card wyb $10 worth of select soda brands (Crush, Mug, Lipton Can Tea, etc) Limit 5 gift cardsposted in Expired Deals
Evidently they run this promo each year. I did the same promo last year and the gift cards do come and it is really easy to do and you get some pretty cheap soda out of it. Thanks, MC.

@mrvietnam When you tried at Sears did you say to apply your $40 in points? You wouldn’t earn points back if you paid with points.
I know. Didn’t pay with points.

@mrvietnam I suspect limit of one. When you load cart did you enter payment and take it all the way to Review Order? That’s the most reliable way to see what you’ll receive.
Once again, you are right, Maine. I saw where it said $40 something in points, but I didn’t read carefully. That is how many points I have available to redeem. Even though I could not find where it said a limit of one, the limit indeed is one. I think I will try loading something from my cart from Sears and see if it makes a difference.
EDIT: Tried Sears and no points. So it looks like you can only do this deal once at either Kmart or Sears.

There is a separate offer I just saw: buy $40 or more in kitchen appliances, get back $40 in SYW points.
Are you sure that’s not the same offer? Kitchen appliances are a sub-set of Home.
Now that I think of it you are probably right. It probably is the same offer. I got a message from Kmart on my smartphone and it only mentioned kitchen appliances, but I bet it is the same deal.I got my points a couple days ago, but now when I place a mock second order it says I will receive another $40 in points. I am tempted to do the deal again. Nowhere in the terms and conditions of the deal does it say you can only do it once.

I got my points today from the K-Mart deal. As I posted earlier, they are only valid for 7 days.
