Yep, I got this one too. Combine this deal with the $2 coupon, and get a not quite free but still cheap sub at Jersey Mike’s. https://phatwalletforums.com/topic/18706/jersey-mike-s-subs-coupon-any-regular-sub-2-off-valid-through-9-30-w-q

Perfect. High Mileage 5W30 is exactly what I need. Save another 5% if you buy it with Subscribe & Save.

Does DD have free wifi?
All of them have wifi in my experience.
Will report back when I find out if happy hour drinks work with the donut offer.
Update: Yes, works with happy hour! Doesn’t look like it at first, but price of donut is deducted when order is submitted. App order in my case.
Well, today marks exactly the three-week mark since receiving the email, and no check in the mail yet. Hope it comes soon.
Now it’s been four weeks. Still no check.
@mrvietnam said in Walgreens.com Get $80+ in select P&G Items and make $15+ after ALL OFFERS (points, CB, rebate) Free Ship:
Wow. Good deal. Wish I would have known about this offer yesterday though when tcb was still offering $4 bonus cashback on a $15+ spend.
I’m seeing the $4 TCB bonus is good through today: Simply make your qualifying purchase before 7/6/2020 11:59:59 PM, and the bonus will be added to your account.
I got my $15 card today. I initially had some issues; the rebate house sent me an automated message a couple weeks ago that my receipt was unacceptable as it didn’t show confirmation of shipment, even though it did. As of last week, things still seemed to be unresolved, so it was a nice surprise for it to show up today.
Minor issue, for some reason, I couldn’t activate my card via the website. It wouldn’t accept my zip code. But it worked when I called the phone number instead.
Reminder, the next round begins next Tuesday.
Glad to see it’s back. The previous two weeks, it was a $2 Whopper.
@mistercheap said in FREE Wendy's Frosty Jr. w/Purchase when you buy a Frosty Key Tag for $2 (Unlimited use until 12/31/21):
Wondering if this can be stacked with APP OFFERS (like free chicken sandwich w/any purchase) or they considered it duplication of offers (one offer per order)
But to be honest, I often order the Frosty Jr. as my ‘purchase’ as it’s been as low as 29c in some locations to satisfy the requirement for the free chix or whatever sandwich.
I do all the time. I suppose this falls into the YMMV category as a particular location (or even cashier or manager on duty at a particular time) may respond differently than another. In my case, I’ve never been rejected at my hometown location and I never order without using other coupons. There’s nothing to scan or input for the free frosty; I just show them the tag and they give me one.
Several other cards have promotions, too.
https://giftcards.kroger.com/promotions
I think it looks like this only one Whopper per account per day. I’m getting one today, will have to see if the offer shows up again tomorrow.
One wonders how it was possible almost a half-hour in, but I seem to have gotten a spot, too.
Edit: I made a screen shot of the confirmation just in case…
As far as Hulu goes, the thing to do is sign up for the annual Black Friday timeframe promo. If you already have a Hulu account, just sign up with a different email. Hulu has been doing this recurring deal for the last, I dunno, five years or so? It has ranged from being $0.99 - $1.99 per month for one year. I realize that this doesn’t do you any good now, you’ll have to wait until next BF for (presumably) the next offer. But there is no reason to not do this deal for the basic Hulu package.
Netflix has never had promo offers, at least not for some time, outside of an occasional first month free trial. Besides looking for discounted gift cards as someone already noted, try searching over at the other famous deal site, you know, the “slippery” one. There has been an off-and-on deal to buy a Google Chromecast that comes bundled with six months of Netflix for more-or-less free.
And yes, as you realize, a Hot Deal is all about a verifiable deal on specific good or services. looking for “useful tips and advice” is Deal Discussion.

@frugalpete said in Taxes on My Points/Swagbucks redemptions if redemption would put you over $600 in the year:
is the $600 reporting for Swagbucks and Mypoints combined, or is it $600 each?
Excellent question. I am wondering about that too as I am signed up for both Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars.
It’s separate. Each company, though all three are under the Prodege umbrella of ownership, is distinct from one another. I got the $600 warning from SB but not from MP when I tried to do my final redemption of the year on each.
@connman said in Official Kellogg's Family Rewards Program Codes Master Thread:
@yoregano Out of curiosity, which reward? I claimed Amazon GCs (x3 accts) with no issues on the claiming process.
The Amazon card, of course. 😉 It seems like it’s a site problem, not in picking a specific reward.
UPDATE: KFR acknowledged on their FB page that they are aware of the issue and are working on it.
I see Amazon is available as a prize choice, but when I choose it and click the “get that code” button, it just spins endlessly and doesn’t process, so perhaps it hasn’t been re-stocked and their annoying site hasn’t been updated.
I guess Ibotta isn’t accounting for inflation. Rebate is $7.84, but these are $8.48 at my Walmart.
FYI per the terms:
This offer is only redeemable in the following regions:
DE, MD, NJ, PA
PSA-For me, at least, the $7.99 three-topping, everyday carryout deal is cheaper than 50% off if you want three or less toppings. If you want a loaded up extravaganza, then this might be cheaper (but who wants that many toppings on a pizza?).
Yes, I have these in the Chicago area. I also have one for free Bagel Minis with a M/L drink purchase. If they have offers like these on a regular basis, it will help make up for the overall down-valuing of points with the new rewards program.
I’m going to try one of these offers tomorrow and see if it works with the $2 coffee after 2 PM deal that has been ongoing for some time now. (Might not work per the terms saying not combinable with other offers.)
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the free item with purchase offer does not work with the discounted coffee. If you apply the item with purchase offer, it will take off the price of the bakery item but readjust the coffee to regular price. So in my case, I gave up the free item to get the coffee for $2.
@fivetalents Thanks for the suggestion, this seems to have solved the issue. I experimented again with the cotton swabs and when I start from my Subscriptions page to set up a S&S order, the checkout screen is now like what mtnagel showed in an earlier post.
So that is the key—I need to start from my S&S tab in my account settings and not from a regular product page. Good to know, but Amazon shouldn’t be mucking around with the order process giving different results depending on how you start the process.
UPDATE: I’m still getting inconsistent results depending on how a product shows on the page and whether I can add it to my April S&S order or whether it makes an item an immediate order. If I click on a recommended item (that Amazon shows me based on previous order history or something), a yellow “Subscribe now” button shows and adding items this way will go to my monthly order with a longer lead time before shipping. But if I try and search for an item and just go to the general product page, attempting an order this way results in the issue that I first described, an immediate order with the subscription being created for a future order.
The overall situation here is still something of a confusing and frustrating conundrum.

@yoregano said in Walgreens moneymaker spend $2 ac for $4 rewards // 2x Vivid Whitening Manual Toothbrush, Free Ship To Store:
Is it six months or a year from earning that they expire if not redeemed?
1 year. 6 months is for activity.
I have plenty of activity and I still get expiring rewards notices almost every month, so I think time and not activity is the only factor, regardless of what the terms may say.
Edit: I guess I could have read the terms MrV posted above, yeah, that’s basically what I’m saying: Earned rewards expire one year after they are earned unless redeemed. For me, I typically have around $2-$5 about to expire, sometimes more. It’s not as much as it used to be since Wags discontinued the Healthy Choices way of earning extra rewards.
I used up a very old BB&B gift card this week at my local closing store this week. My store was actually more recently added to the closing list. Most (still overpriced) items were 40% off. Nothing amazing in terms of value or quality to be found, but, good to get rid of the GC. It’s just as sad to see another retailer going under as it is to say that I don’t think I’m really going to miss it. They no longer had much worthwhile to offer.
@mistercheap Thanks, but already expired. Got a “limit reached” message after entering the code.
Last freebie today: 04TACOTUESDAY
Next week: On 9/12, we’re teaming up with DoorDash to put it on our tab! We’ll help cover part of your taco order from any participating Mexican restaurant. Remember, when tacos win, we all win. Live Más.
Oh, I had forgotten about this. The code 3GUEST10 is expired. (Per own experience trying it on a new account several days ago and per thread on SD.)
Play daily to potentially earn perks and Crowns. I believe you get 100 Crowns the first time you play, at least that’s what I got.
After playing four consecutive days, my prize today was 200 Crowns.
Be sure to log in today for 66 free Crowns. No purchase necessary.
Today’s deal (12/29) is one of the better ones, a free Original Chicken Sandwich with a $1+ purchase.
One thousand sandwiches isn’t very many, and starting on 1/17… on the stroke of midnight, or what? I guess I’ll put a note on my calendar to check this out, but I have a feeling this will be similar to the Quikly contests where the deal is fully claimed within seconds of going live.
New game started today in the BK app, emphasis on new “cloud” drinks. Play daily to win crowns and other prizes. I won a Med Frozen Cotton Candy Cloud (has foam on top) with a $1 purchase for my first prize.
Today’s deal is free any size onion rings with $1+ purchase.
Birthday deal now through the end of the month is a Whopper can be redeemed for 550 Crowns instead of the usual 750.
I know what I’m having for lunch.
DD offers have overall been lacking in value this year IMO, but this one is pretty good. I’ll wait to get my muffin until next Monday. In my area, there continues to be an ongoing deal for 100 bonus points for ordering ahead on Mondays.
Got my chicken sandwich with bacon which was exactly $1 extra.

@mrvietnam What store did you buy the egift card from? My go to for TCB bonuses was ACE, but the last four purchases didn’t track… last time I lodged a claim and received a lame excuse… Thanks!
It’s from TCB’s own gift card store. Click the link in the bar at the top of the home page, or here is the link: https://www.topcashback.com/top-gift-cards/
These always track quickly.
If you go in the afternoon after 2pm and use the self service Kiosk, you’ll often get a bonus offer prompt on the screen to get any pastry for $2.
I get the $2 pastry offer from time to time when using the app. It gives you ten seconds to accept the offer before disappearing. I’ve found that you can accept the offer but you don’t have to redeem it immediately. It will be good until the next day.
I’ve noticed the 503 excessive bandwidth errors have increased significantly in the last month or so. Yes, refreshing the page can sometimes alleviate the problem, but last night at a latish hour, nothing worked for me with repeated attempts over a span of several minutes. I realize this is a fairly small-scale forum hosted on some likely small servers, but is traffic really increasing enough to cause the more frequent overloads? Or is the gerbil spinning the wheel just getting too long in the tooth?
Just bought a $50 Zift card. The $10 coupon printed on the receipt as expected. However:
I got only 400 rewards points. This means that only the 10x J4U offer applied (no additional 4x or 2x) and the system accounted for the $10 coupon and deducted it in calculating the points, considering it as a net $40 purchase.
If your transaction experience is different, post accordingly.
Well, based on all the updates about contacting CS about the points discrepancies, I called too and got my credits issued.
@mistercheap said in Dunkin App Users: Convert Points Now for Rewards, rewards program changing 10/6, more points will be needed for same items (see post):
That late in the day, I ask them to sell them to me at 1/2 price. They throw out most of what they don’t sell at closing. Some stores will do it, especially if they have a ton still on the shelf.
If you ask nicely, its worth the gamble, worst they can do is say no. (I have purchased muffins and bagels like that, not a big donut person, but I can confirm I’ve gotten deals on baked goods after 4 or 5PM, again based on closing time (usually 8 or 9) and how much they didn’t sell.
Venturing even a little further off-topic, there’s an app you can download that facilitates a similar effect called To Good To Go. You create an account and can see participating stores in your area, from major chains like Panera, Whole Foods, and gas stations to local mom-and-pop bakeries and pizza parlors. Basically, the stores put together a bundle of various end-of-day food, depending on the types of items they sell (pizza, sandwiches, bakery items, deli, etc.) and you can buy them at a substantial discount. The items, prices, and availability varies from day to day, quantities are limited, and they often sell out. You also have to be able to pick up your bundle at a specific time, usually close to closing time. It’s a nice idea, I’ve yet to experience it as most things sell out quickly in my area. One of these days I’ll get lucky and see what happens.
Still getting 503 errors with frequency, but when the URL went to a parked page at GoDaddy for most of the day, I thought it was gone for good. But then it went back to normal late in the day.
So, the domain was up for renewal, but somebody forgot to put a quarter in the meter?
@mtnagel said in Changes to Burger King Crowns Rewards Program effective 11/12/25:
They better not raise the price of the of the impossible whopper. It’s already too many crowns compared to the regular whopper.
Click the link posted to see all the details.
It looks like a combination of some things actually going down in “cost”, some things staying the same, some things eliminated, and a few things being added. The current 250 tier is more-or-less becoming 200, the 400 remains 400, the 750 becomes 700, and the 1,000 stays 1,000, while the 550 and 1,400 tiers are dropped. Some combo meals are new in the 1,000 tier. The original chicken drops from 1,000 to 700. Overall, it doesn’t look like the typical “everything gets worse” like when most restaurants revamp their rewards.
I just got an email saying that Disney Movies Anywhere will be shutting down, and they are encouraging users to transfer to and sign up for Movies Anywhere.
I agree. A “YMMV” sub-forum doesn’t make sense. Posting as much concise detail as reasonable in any HD topic, including particular YMMV factors, is the best route.
Sub-forums should more about genres, such as grocery, automotive, etc., not about variables in the shopping experience.
Seems cool. For example, this is a way to effectively watch movies from one’s Google Play library on a Amazon Fire TV since there is not a Google Play app for Fire TV.
