I’ll give it a little more time to see if they fix it before I call them.

As shown by the commentary on TCB’s Facebook page as well as on their website, many people who are subscribed to TCB did not receive this, myself included. And TCB implied in their posts that it wasn’t targeted, but for everyone if they are signed up to get emails. Oh well.

Remember, offers vary by location, so it helps to post your location when you post if/what changed or is available for you.

The $1 sandwich is still available for me, 1x per week in the Chicago burbs. No changes or exclusions that I can see.

I wondered if the coins would stack with the app promos. I don’t use the app, so hopefully anyone who tries to stack them can report back their results. That would take the sting out of the app going from allowing a $1 sandwich per day to only once a week (if I understand correctly).

This should work. Since the cashier will be handing out the coins with purchase, there shouldn’t be and issues with how much one paid for the purchase (getting a discount via the app). Perhaps a YMMV situation based on each particular location and/or manager or cashier on duty at the time.

Also, FWIW, how frequently one can use the $1 app deal varies based on location. I am still able to use it once per day in the Chicago area.

This only works for ibotta rebates that “may be redeemed up to 5 times per receipt.” If I buy only one/less than 5, after the receipt is submitted, the rebate offer will be removed from my account, but it is always returned to my account within a day and a half (unless it has expired, all 5 redemtions have been used, or ibotta expires the offer early/prematurely).

Okay, your clarification confirms mainly what I was saying, that the rebate will be removed after the first submission and should later return if it’s before the expiration date. Your first reply could be read as that one could simultaneously submit multiple, separate receipts for the same rebate, which one cannot.

So yes, I agree this is a good way to make progress toward bonuses for items one actually wants, as long as one can manage this process within the available timeframe.

That’s not how it works, though, unless you’ve had an exceptional result. In my experience, the first submission of a rebate redeems it and removes it, regardless of the quantity submitted. Sometimes, the offer will return a few days later, but not necessarily. Perhaps you are thinking of Checkout 51. I think those offers can have multiple submissions up to the stated limit.

So in other words, if one had already signed up for text offers from a previous offer, they aren’t going to be able to use the code they get from this one?

I don’t have many gripes about Ibotta. Their customer service and offers tend to be pretty good, but 50% or so of these free-after-rebate items tend not to be carried at stores near me or are new items that, by the time they finally do come to store, the rebate is long gone.

Has anyone successfully done this yet? I submitted a receipt two days ago via web upload and got a prompt that said something about a successful submission, but have not yet received the Vudu code. I’m thinking something still went wrong.

Update: I re-submitted, this time via email, and I received the Vudu code within minutes.

FYI, the challenge is still accessible, but it’s from last week. New challenges come out on the first and third Mondays each month.

There’s a fairly recent thread on SD about a $40 Hyundai offer. If still valid, it’s a bit trial and error, but searching and browsing the site generates a pop-up that allows you to claim the offer. I did it a few weeks ago.

This seems to be a targeted offer. I see it on only one of three family accounts. But a no-brainer of course for those to whom it is available.

I just submitted a receipt and got a reply that the limit has been reached, so offer is over.

I did some more futzing around, and was able to find the pop-up at https://www.hyundaiusa.com/dealer-locator/. After filling in my contact info, the offer automatically filled in a dealer in my general area, but not the one closest to me.
