If you’re planning on buying a lot of cards, it might be a good idea to mix up the CC’s that you’re using and keep your receipts. A year or two ago, the heavy hitters were getting their cards drained. I’m guessing the CC# was how Target was identifying bulk purchasers. I tried doing 2 transactions at one store and the cashier wouldn’t let me get a second card — other cashiers didn’t care, so YMMV. Self-checkout is your friend. Might not be a bad idea to get some other items to mix in with the GC’s, if you’re doing multiple transactions at the same store.
Didn’t change the title or the deal, @fivetalents…was schooled early on by a diligent mod about keeping the integrity of a post for posterity’s sake…
The deal always had an Aug 15 start date and Sep 18 end date; a mod merely moved it to expired deals prematurely, thinking that it expired Aug 18:
Save on your Pet needs - Expires 9/18/2019 11:59 PM EST
All CardCash promotions are valid until the expiration date written on the email.
Most promotions are not yet available on the app.
Maximum $3,000 per customer.
Brand new cards purchased through the brand new gifting platform are not included in this deal.
Coupons or price changes will not be applied to these cards.
Mea culpa!!! I apologize profusely and humbly beg your forgiveness favorite minion o’ mine.
Your sleuthing is correct… I saw an expired deal with a future expiration date + your reply adding new deals and incorrectly concluded that you updated the title to reflect the new deals (2 + 2 = 5… it’s the new math).
I was unaware that the thread had been prematurely and incorrectly expired. Manually expiring threads is very tedious, so errors happen from time to time. Whenever that happens, send the expiring moderator a PM or tag them in a reply in the thread (I suspect that was me too but I’ll thank you not to confirm that, TYVM… my ego can take but so much in one day).
Do you forgive me yet? Have I told you how handsome you look today this year?
@kohlspowrshopper Only 2 days left for this deal.
Buy two $50 gift cards for $90. Plus you should get 4X fuel points on that $90 as well.
Unlike Lowe’s, seldom do you see discounted Home Depot gift cards.
Also unlike Lowe’s, the “Special Buy of the Day” at Home Depot is often actually a good deal on something worthwhile!
@fivetalents I have to express my concerns with this as a master thread. We are getting into the biggest time of year for gift cards and people are not going to see many offers posted here with a generic title
Personally, I think this thread should be discarded totally. We can have master threads for all kinds of things but they just don’t work. Hard to keep track of too many things, not conducive to discussion because of overlapping deals or things expiring and some still valid .
Let’s please go back to posting these deals as their own threads as they’d been for years (counting FW time).
There was similar offer for prepaid MC a few weeks ago. I was surprised to find they’d been removed from the stores in my state. We’ve never been able to purchase prepaid Amex but MC wasn’t a problem. Maybe the MC got pulled because of the theft issues.
I saw plenty of Visa’s so I’ll be getting those for 5% on Chase Ink.
Limit 1 per customer but no Rewards card needed since no Rewards earned for gc purchases so its up to the cashier to enforce the limit.
