No doubt that when you posted “still active”, you first got a message about starting a new thread, due to this one being so old. In that case, a repost is okay. (hence, the message) I think it’s goes for anything older than 4 months. Mods would have to clarify that.

Speaking as a mod, I would infinitely rather you post a reply to the original thread such as “just a heads-up to all that this deal is still active”, rather than setting off a potential series of flags by posting a new thread, no matter how old the OP is.
