@juicer said in Ebay $15/$75 good today only (9/30) until 6 pm PT:
Again I am asking how people discover these deals other than deal sites. Do you get email notices or popups on ebay site? I try to hold onto my shopping list until these deals come around but am never sure of the timing…
You just have to keep checking their homepage for $15 off $75 or other general use coupons. No email or inbox notifications are sent.
For targeted bonus bucks offers (e.g., 6%, 8%, 10%, etc.), the offer will be on the homepage and in your eBay inbox if you’re invited, or you can wait for them to send you an email notification. The emails are usually sent out long after the deal goes live though, so checking the site for bonus bucks is best.
For both types of offers, they’ll appear in the banner at the top of the homepage that auto advances like a slideshow showing their highlighted deals. Again, targeted offers will also include a message in your inbox and, eventually, an email.
I was on eBay a few hours before this was posted and there was nothing there, so they can appear at any time throughout the day (they usually never post early in the morning though). Even days when I’m actively checking periodically because we’re due for the next offer, I usually get a notification from a deal site before I happen to find it on my own. But hey, having extra eyes looking out for you is a good thing.
There have been so many offers back to back over the past year or two that I’ve gotten to the point that I wait until there is an active offer to buy. I may shop whenever they’re no offers, but I just put things on my watch list and wait until the next coupon/bonus bucks offer to buy. I never add stuff to my cart until I’m ready to buy because eBay will send you emails harassing you to check out.
