We are trying to make free stuff the forum for free items from the convenience of your computer only. (mailed to you, online submission, download, etc) and ongoing Manufactuerer rewards programs like Marlboro, Coke, etc for buying items that you submit codes or receipts to save up for something.

Well, after 2 1/2 days I finally got credit for my Sparkling Ice purchase, but now the $5 Target gift cards are out of stock and it said while supplies last. That was the only worthwhile prize. I hope they restock.

right because you’re buying at the store, these online GC’s at TCB work through a 3rd party gift card vendor, so depending on the merchant, some come pre determined by denomination and usually have the amount printed on the front of the card. Others allow you to pick an amount, but some start at 25 others at $10 I believe.

It popped up on Facebook but didn’t link to the terms, only the store locator. I assume 1 of each of the big coupons and everyone else gets the $10. Their coupons exclude most brands though.

I read a “quiet” notice about this a couple weeks ago. I think it was in an email from Walgreens. Yes, it was a nice, easy few bucks a month. A little odd that they ended the program after the first week of the monthly challenge (they normally run 4 weeks and then would reset when you chose a new set of challenges). Oh well.

Remember to keep track of your cash balance and be sure to redeem any amount due to expire at the end of each month.

I was thinking that this month’s bonus would either coincide with July 4th or Prime Day.

To be honest, this rebate is worth a fraction of that amount since it’s only like $5 or 6 to buy a $25 Rest.com certificate which is nothing more than a ‘coupon’ to save say $25 on a $50 purchase at a restaurant.

Restaurant.com used to be much better years ago, but merchants had a lot of problems with the site keeping offers up when they were no longer participating and other issues, thus you’ll find pretty slim pickings in most areas to even buy a certificate for. If you’re buying the BIORE anyway, go for it, but I wouldn’t do this thinking you’re getting a $50 gift card to use at a restaurant.

I already stopped participating in the recycling program a few months ago. Got tired of looking for things to buy every month just to use up the rewards.

No, for purposes of my account, the #'s are correct. I’m at base level. If I were earning $40 per month vs $20 maybe I’d hang on. But I’d have to join the Staples Plus thing at $50 to earn $40, so oop would be $150 to earn $480 per year. Now, that’s not a bad return per se, but I’ve become unsettled by Staples continual reduction of benefits and no advance warning on changes with policy changes, not to mention no balance coupons which can be a pain in the butt.

If they run a really good promo on ink (say 50% back, maybe even 40% in rewards) I might bite on the $50 but until then just going to do the OD program and stay on the sidelines.

Not only did I receive an e-mail that my purchase had tracked but I also received a separate one for the $2.50.

I have a $10 giftcards.com order that was pending for a month and then “declined by retailer”. Don’t know who is at fault. Filed a ticket.

I got the same. I really can’t complain about free stuff, but they spoiled me the first time I did this, with a backpack and a whole box of samples.
