Most of the things at CVS are marked up almost double that of a dollar tree or 99 cents only store. How are the bucks most efficiently used - prescription copays?

They can’t be used on RX co-pays.

Best use would be the following:

“roll” them on other deals which give ‘new’ extra bucks after paying with extra bucks (sometimes there are MM deals on things like make up and HBA stuff)

Grocery deals where the sale prices are similar to supermarket (ie, soda, nuts, tuna fish, bottled water, etc)

after holiday clearance deals (Halloween, Xmas, etc)

Candy deals at Halloween (trick/treat)

check the deal boards for CVS on an ongoing basis for what the hot deals are week to week.

There s’b many ways in a 30 days period you can spend each $10 and get your money’s worth on what you buy w/o overspending.

FYI,

Have seen a promo at my pharmacy counter in store to get the first month FREE. But that my only apply if you pay monthly vs the yearly option.

Need to read up on the offer more next time I’m there.

Also, I’m wondering if they will offer an extra incentive to join this around Black Friday, as CVS typically offers FS no minimum for a stretch around the holidays.

Several months ago Sam’s Club had a Scan & Go promotion in which you had to sign up and then go to a club and buy $45 of merchandise in store and pay with the Scan & Go feature as part of the Sam’s Club app. Well, at the time it worked fine for me and it instantly took the $45 off my purchase. However, fast forward to yesterday and I received a mailer that normally I would just toss but I saw it said on the front “Well, that was awkward. Let us make it up to you.”
