The order I placed this morning shipped this afternoon. It looks like they have already credited my account the base points of about 67 cents and the extra 10,000 points. The extra 10,000 points has a 7/31/18 expiration. By extra 10,000 points I mean the difference from getting only 50,000 points and the 60,000 I earned on my order. Hopefully in the morning I will get 50,000 points posted to my SYW account or else I will refuse the packages when they arrive.

Edit: I think I know why I got an extra 10,000 points. With this order I hit the mark needed to earn $10 in points from the Spend more, Get more monthly program.

Edit2: It is bye 10:24 PT. I received the 50,000 points in my account as expected. I got a $7 off $50 coupon on my receipt today, so the next time I shop I will be able to get $57 worth of merchandise for $50.

I just placed an online order for 4 boxes of 180 ct $19.99 Smartsense 13 gallon kitchen trash bags and I redeemed a $5 off $50 digital coupon and used $8.30 in points to pay. It said I will be getting $60.67 in points back. I also ordered through befruga.com, so I will get 3% back on my order, too, which comes to $2. So all together I paid out 78.13 and will get back $60.67, so I paid $17.46 for 4 180 ct kitchen drawstring trashbags, or $4.37 each.

I made a strategic mistake with this order. I should have ordered only 3 boxes and they would have been $2.33 a box after tax and all discounts, By ordering four boxes, I paid an extra 2.04 a box (so I paid $4.37 a box after tax and all discounts).
Too bad there is no easy way to cancel an online order and re-order. I called and they said I could return it to a Kmart store when I receive it, but that would probably mess things up because if I reordered now there is no guarantee I would receive the bonus points since I got them on the current order. I was a little bit greedy wanting to get the $60.xx in points rather than $50.xx in points, not realizing getting the $50.xx in points was a better price per item deal than getting the $60.xx amount. A few days ago customer service gave me $7 in points to make up for a $7 off $7 apparel coupon that did not show up in my freecash (I got a receipt paper saying it was available to me but when I went to use it the cashier said it wasn’t in my account), so I guess I can offset the $8.16 by that free $7 customer service gave me to make the loss more bearable. Also, the addtional OOP spending gets me very close to my $10 freecash for their spend more, get more monthly program.

Watch your point balance. I redeemed $8.30 in points on my online order, but for some reason it took out $8.30 TWICE. I called customer service and they returned $8.30 to my SYW account. The nice thing about that is it makes those $8.30 have a year validity rather than expiring at the end of this month.

On a side note, I am not sure what triggered me to get $60.xx in points back rather than $50.xx. I used points to bring down the amount as low as I could without the points changing back to $50.xx. There was no in between it was either $50.xx or $60.xx back in points, Three boxes didn’t trigger the $60 in points, only four did.

I recommend whoever has not done this deal yet to do it before 6/30. There is really little to no risk. If you don’t get the points then just return the order to a Kmart store or if you do not live close to a Kmart store you could refuse the order when it arrives. This must be some unadvertised deal, as it is advertised as only getting 25% back, not 100%.

I must have hit the jackpot. Playing one SYW Sweepstakes game (Wild Wednesday) I just won 3,500 points. That is equivalent to $3.50. Most of the time my few wins are only either 5 or 10 cents.
