I’m now seeing what you’re seeing. If I try to place a S&S order, it wants to ship it now for 5% off instead of adding it to my upcoming S&S order with 15% off.

I wonder if it’s because I’m in the period where I can’t edit my upcoming S&S order (last day to edit was yesterday), but I’d be fine if it added it to my May S&S order, which is actually what I want. I guess I’ll wait till after my stuff ships/delivers and see if I can add it to the May order. Or course it might be more expensive then, which would be annoying.

No, you still aren’t getting what I’m saying since it seems to be working differently for you. If I go to any S&S-eligible product page, click the radio button for S&S, specify the delivery interval (1 month or whatever), and then click the yellow “Set up now” button, it then takes me to a checkout screen like I showed with my screen shot in the earlier post. My only options at that point is to place an immediate order (with only a 5% discount applied) and then have the item set up for future S&S deliveries, or I can uncheck the box under S&S and it then just becomes like any other non-S&S order.

Again, I have been using S&S for many years; I know how it works, or at least how it used to work. It just doesn’t work that way anymore for me. The questions now are: Why is this change affecting some users and not others? - and - Is this ultimately going to become a permanent change for everyone?

I suppose I could try and contact customer service and try to find out what’s going on but I doubt it would change anything anyway, so probably not worth the hassle.

Is this on a certain device? Do you have any current subscriptions? You can try placing the order with s&s and immediately cancel the order and see if the s&s stays.

Just to confirm, going through the order flow and then cancelling the order? if you’re getting 15% discount sounds like you already had at least 4 items for the subscription. Wonder why it wasn’t working for you then. Perhaps, as I mentioned the device you’re on, mobile vs PC vs app might have different flows.

Yes, I ordered the item with a 10% discount which was set to ship right away and arrive by Monday when I have a S&S order arriving on April 6th. I set it for 1 month S&S. After ordering, I saw it was added to my May 4th S&S order with a 15% discount. I canceled the order and it disappeared from my current orders but the item is still in my May 4th S&S.

I saw no difference between PC and Android Amazon app. Same options. And yes I almost always have 5+ S&S items every month.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this behavior before and I think it’s what I said above. I’m past the cut off date to add items or edit my April 6th S&S, but it’s obviously before April 6th. I think I’ll check everyday and see when (or if) it starts to add it to my May 4th S&S instead of trying to ship right away.

Anyone still doing this? I’ve probably gotten at least 50 cans of this for free, but I suspect the gravy train is coming to an end. Kroger had them all on close out today so they might be discontinuing it. But that might not even matter as I tried to get another one using an Incognito window like I have for the last 9 months, but this time they asked for a phone number to text and said I had reached my limit. I still have a few coupons saved, so I’ll try to get a few more, but looks like this is over. It was crazy how I could keep doing it but I guess they finally figured it out.

Thanks all for the good discussion and help in troubleshooting. I thought of a scenario that is still a potential problem with the workaround of placing an order and then cancelling it immediately to just use S&S: when an item has a discount (separate from the S&S discount) from a clicking a checkbox on the item page that is only applied to the first order. I suspect if I try the order-then-cancel approach, I would lose that extra discount. I may have to experiment if I can find an item I don’t really care about with an extra discount and see what happens.

It was odd because it wouldn’t let me change the state from California and I tried multiple browsers/mobile/laptop but I submitted it anyway and it’s now past 48 and nothing. I did sent them a support message, but it’s odd because they have been very quick to pay out.

They’re missing a chunk of workers that might get it before going to work. Maybe it’s a pandemic thing, but still seems crazy to me. Also bizarre that I can’t seemingly order ahead. All of them just say closed and won’t let me hit confirm. What a bad user experience. Oh well.

Great deal of course, but I can’t believe how much Walgreens charges for stuff. Kroger charges $8.49 for that Listerine. And I just paid $2.79 for the Kroger version ($3.79 regular price). I honestly don’t know how the taste compares to Listerine but I think the Kroger one is fine and they both have the same actives so they should work the same.

Got mine today. I just happened to be near a BK today while I was picking up my free Brio bday dessert (no purchase required). Added a $1.10 soft serve for my minimum purchase. I had already made pot roast for dinner so added some fries and 2 desserts for about $1.

So they responded overnight and I got the $1. To be fair, the receipt just says, “KRO BRN FLK” so I’m not sure how they are expected to know that’s a cereal. I assume this is why Ibotta has bar code scanning. I see those offers are gone from my account so this will probably be of very limited usefulness unless they start adding more offers.

No kids so no care I cut the child proof zipper off, but I don’t have to worry about my cat eating them. But seriously, it’s still baffling as a non parent that parents can’t just put these things where kids can’t get them.

They added an offer for Sabra hummus, which we buy regularly so that’s something. There’s also the deal for $1 back on soda, which I rarely buy but I did the $8 Mug root beer offer so I got a 12 pack for $10 and will get $9 back. And I use a 5% cash back card, which will come off the full price so $0.50 back so really $0.50 for a 12 pack of soda.

Yes everyone gets free wifi if you have a Skymiles account. Not sure on international, but I assume so as well. As for the deal, I totally missed it when I logged in, but my SO showed it to me. Can someone comment on the DD info, is that just another bank account info or do you have to have a direct deposit linked (payroll check, etc)

Pretty sure any deposit will work. I just transferred money from another bank account and it shows as pending with the amount I deposited.

I’m an idiot. After transferring $250 into my account to try to save 10% at Netflix, I see you can’t pay Netflix ahead, which I definitely knew but clearly forgot. Oh well. I’ll save 10% off one month anyway.

Nope. They seeming don’t sell their own gift cards. Only third parties but then I wouldn’t get the cash back. That seems really dumb to me but I guess Netflix has a reason.
