@mistercheap This is a long shot, but if you’re near an airport I bet you can find Teavana costing more than $2.99.
But you’re right, AB has some silly-ass offers mixed in there. Just be glad you don’t live in Virginia, where most minimum purchase prices are doubled! -

No stores left near me, and I’m tired of having to pay out-of-pocket for shipping (can’t use points)–and I don’t mean the $59 free shipping either, but all shipping takes actual money. Sort of takes the luster off getting items “free” by paying with points…sigh.
Personal Shoppers let you order anything with free shipping, even cheap items paid for entirely with points. The caveat is that they only work M-F 9-5:30 CT so you’d either have to catch your PS during that time period via the app chat or phone, or I guess maybe email them and hope they can place your order before the price goes up or something. It’s a free service, you just have to sign up for a PS and be willing to interface with a human to get your free shipping.
Interesting, thanks. LOL on the “be willing to interface with a human” bit…what a price to pay!
So when I ask my PS to order a single $2.99 t-shirt from Kmart, all paid with SYWR points, should I expect some pushback?

I’m a fan of B&D 20V stuff, and my similar B&D 20V drill is on year 3 of regular use. Do I use it to drill 1/2" holes in concrete, or screw down 350 sq ft of deck boards? No. But I’d reach for it for just about everything else.

RE: MASTER THREAD -NBPR - No Beer Purchase Required Rebates online submissionposted in Expired Deals
@mistercheap Interesting idea, and it would be especially useful if specific links were included. Btw I think Kroger and Anheiser-Busch are in cahoots on some of these.
For example, one of the few beer rebates that was available in VA, $7 for a Stella Artois 12-pack, required a $14 minimum purchase price.
Kroger had that sale priced at $13.99. I asked at Customer Service if they could ring me up at slightly over, say $14.50, but no dice (and yes, I’m that cheap). -

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Threadposted in Hot Deals
@briarycliffs Noted, thanks. Several SYW Sweeps changes in the last couple of weeks. The regular “Instant Win” games have petered down from 4 daily down to none. And the XTRA games don’t typically payout much over $0.50 in total a day–with one exception I described above. On the other hand, for whatever reason, the “Win It!” (phone app) bonus games awarded me $9.00 in points yesterday: 5,000 in the morning, and then 4,000 later in the day. Whoo-hoo! It’s been a couple years since I saw anything like that!
-
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Threadposted in Hot Deals
@ukedog Dunno if it’s just me, or April Fools Day (or some combo of both), but SYW Sweeps XTRA games are actually paying out today. I’m only 4/10 through the batch, and I’ve already hit two 500 points and two 250 points games, plus a couple typical 100 and 50 points ones. Btw games are loading slowly too, with the occasional “WOW! What a Crowd!” timeout (gotta reclick XTRA I found). Just saying. YMMV

I bought over $200 worth of posters in 2017, using both online and in-house (hand over USB stick) at the print center at my local Staples store. But I see this bit in the details: “Offer available to customers who have purchased at one of our self-serve devices, scan, shred, faxing and printing from the computer workstation.” Never did the self-serve via workstation thing.
I do see it’s in-store only. Guess I’ll mosey on over and find out.

RE: Kroger Launches New Online Grocery Delivery Service + Subscription Option NOW NATIONWIDE With 15% Off (Stacks With Coupons/Sales)+ FS, No Minimum ACposted in Hot Deals
Just wanted to weigh in one more time on this, after my second order with KrogerShip. Wow! I can’t believe how well everything got packed, and all using paper (bio-degradable) packing materials–save for three large zip-lock bags that some liquid items were put in first. See pic below. Truly night-and-day compared to how I’ve received similar stuff from Amazon Prime, e.g. dented, broken, spilled etc.
Btw my order was mostly canned goods and such, and barely hit the $35 minimum free ship (I took advantage of the free-ship-no-minimum on my first order). But I did find some excellent deals, especially on “no salt added” items and curiously enough Meyer’s Clean Day products. Such as 5 of the dish soap for only a little more than what 3 would cost me at Amazon. I found some other items I can’t get at my local Kroger stores as well.
If you haven’t tried this yet, you should check it out. This time it took a whopping 2 days after I ordered to see it on my doorstep, via FedEx ground. I will definitely be using it again for certain items, assuming they can keep this up!
