  I did the buy and return way of using Wags Cash Rewards and sure enough, they issue you a store credit (return) card.

  Can the store credit be used online? Is that used as a Walgreens gift card?

  Not sure on that, but a word of caution. Using store credit (W CARD) like Mr. V got today is like paying with wags cash, you won’t earn new wags cash if doing a $ based offer (earn $5 in Wags cash on $10 colgate) and you pay with the $10 return card. It is not a gift card. So if it can be used online for instance, same rules apply.

  AFAIK these merchandise credits WILL work at the pharmacy to pay for co-pays, versus wags cash which you can’t redeem towards RX’es.

  But the return cards will work to earn Wags Cash if the deal is say, buy 2, get $4 in Wags Cash (like this week’s deal).

  I used to give them to schools because I was only interested in cashing out the rewards.

  Same… now I’m slowly using up my remaining stash

  I sold to one small company about 65 cases for the near giveaway price of $15 a case that I had stored in my garage. I kept about 5 or 6 cases for my day-to-day use. I’m still using it to this day.

  Haven’t had any good deals lately. I miss the $10 trash bag sales they used to have. I’m running very low right now. Lol

  I think the $10 sale price is forever gone. Now I think they are $12 (or more) trash bags when they go on sale. Luckily I have about 20 boxes at the $10 price in my garage, so I have enough for a long time. I also have about 10 boxes of the K-Mart trash bags during the time they were giving 100% back in rewards for buying practically anything in the store before their bankruptcy.

  @mtnagel I use messages.google.com as well, but the phone app gives you access to files. I have a Samsung phone and use the DEX app to control the phone from the computer and transfer files.

  I found the app and I’m trying to figure out if I have any use for it. Not sure I see any reason to make a call on my computer if I have my phone. And it looks like you have to connect you phone to your computer, right? I some times want to transfer files from my phone to my computer, but I just send to google drive. What do you use it for?

  I never make calls on my computer. I like being able to control the phone from the computer and it’s very easy to transfer files. I initially connected the phone by cable to get the app going, but only the first time. Now I just have to put both computers on the same network. My PC is plugged into a wireless router and the phone is on the same wireless network and they communicate very nicely.

  yes I saw that, but keep in mind if you stay within the FDIC limits you shouldn’t have any concerns. But I certainly understand someone being hesitant to park money here based on that report.

  When I spoke to a financial planner he mentioned that it might take some time to get your money back from FDIC.

  In the case of the Silicon Valley Bank, individual with FDIC protected accounts had access to their money at opening on Monday. That has been the case with other bank failures over the last 10-15 years (you can google it)
