RE: BURGER KING APP: New FRIGHT BITE game, ring bell, win crowns or food prize now to 10/31posted in Expired Deals
@yoregano said in BURGER KING APP: New FRIGHT BITE game, ring bell, win crowns or food prize now to 10/31:
Turned out to be a nice and easy game. The food prizes were mostly lame, but I racked up over 400 Crowns for the month.
Agreed, only used one food prize, a chix sandwich w. $1 purchase. But like you probably got about 400 crowns which would take $40 in spend to achieve.
Just a reminder to check your ‘rolling’ balance as points expire after 6 months. have like 200 expiring on 12/1, so will redeem some in November so I don’t forgo them.

RE: checkout51 terms of service update - 180 days of inactivity will charge $3.99 monthly against account balanceposted in Grocery & Drugstore
@ctujackbauer said in checkout51 terms of service update - 180 days of inactivity will charge $3.99 monthly against account balance:
I finally ran into this because of the lack of appealing offers (to me) or video watching for pennies offers.
Checkout51 will send you a heads up email and you have 30 days to redeem a new offer or watch your balance evaporate.
what’s amazing is, this is the app Shopmium sent its former users to as a ‘great replacement’. Luckily I did redeem an offer last month on CO51, not sure where I’m at towards $20 to cash out again, but it’s been, on average, taking a FULL YEAR to hit $20 to cash out which is a joke. Compare that to IBOTTA where I routinely have $20 each month to cash out. Not only that, the offers seem to get ‘depleted’ on CO51 far faster than any other coupon app I’ve ever used.

RE: Staples - New Offer STARTS AGAIN September 2025 Recycle 6 ink carts at store get $15 in rewards make sure offer is activatedposted in Hot Deals
@mrvietnam said in Staples - New Offer STARTS 10/6 Recycle 10 ink carts at store get $25 in rewards make sure offer is activated:
Another thing that I noticed is when you redeem rewards points at Staples, you can only redeem them for a specific whole dollar amount it’s not like Rite Aid where if the cost is $14.49 you can redeem them for $14.49 in points and at Rite Aid they allow you to use your rewards points to pay for tax which they don’t at Staples either. Even at Staples competitor, Office Depot, they allow you to redeem your rewards money for dollars and cents, but not Staples. Just some observations that I’ve noticed.
In my state, rewards come off as coupons which lower the sales tax as well. If I use a $10/30 and $20 in rewards on a $32.10 order INC tax. I pay 30c oop at the end. Tax is wiped out except for 1-2c.
