Yep, last day to redeem expiring Crowns for October. I had 500 expiring this month, next month I have 1950 expiring! There must have been some great promos six months ago to earn bonus Crowns, there’s no way I’ve actually spent that much real money to accumulate that many points in such a short time.

I was able to price match the batteries with Amazon Fresh. A 16 pack of AA batteries was on sale for $9.97 but they agreed to ring it up as $10, so I got my $30 in rewards this morning ($20 for recycling and $10 for the batteries).

@kimi I ❤ the FoodSaver jar attachment. I put chips & crackers, open cheese, produce, etc. in wide mouth quart jars then seal. The jars & lids can be reused forever.

I will have to pass on this cashback deal. I just placed and picked up my orders for like 25 cases and I don’t feel like returning it all to Office Depot and getting it back at the other rate. I only got 4% cashback. It will be about $6 I will lose out on. The there are not very many Office Depot stores in my area and usually when they have a deal on water, they will sell out of the water so I am happy to place my order early because at least I’m guaranteed on actually getting the water.

It’s not ‘free’, it’s still $7.50 for 12 months after swag. I’d think they’ll have another promo around the holidays, so wait 2 or 3 months.

Yes, it could have been a glitch. All I know is (1) the muffin wasn’t available on MY app for purchase and (2) the store wasn’t OOS cause I bought one in store.

DDs are scarce in my area – the next DD is a good 20 miles away. So it’s not like I can easily go to another DD if I don’t like this one. (My DD charges $7.50 for the “$6 Meal Deal” . I guess they charge more because they can. The bagel sandwich was pretty good though.)

I used mine on the Panda Express deal that I posted last week, but if you are not big on Panda you have some other good options to use it on.

Don’t have a Panda close by and since I use the BK app quite a bit, easy choice to just get a free $5 to add to my balance.

But it is still business as usual at least for now over there in the remaining open stores. I have a $5 off $15, $10 off $20, and a 30% off total purchase coupons that I am just itching to use. I will stop by after work today. I used to buy Oreo cookies over there but the last several months they stopped carrying them. Maybe some of their creditors are worried about getting paid

I read online on the Nextdoor app that a customer at a Rite Aid near my home was told the entire chain will be closing June 19, 2025.

I will be on vacation to the Dallas area (the land of no RAs) until the morning of June 18, 2025, so when I get home I will rush off to my local RA and see if anything is left and at what discount.

When I subscribed I got an offer for an additional 400 Swagbucks if I shared on social media, so hopefully this will be a $13 MM for me when the dust settles.

Yeah, I guess I don’t always venture into other sub-groups beyond HD. Agreed, it’s getting harder to find deals at BK, though they still tend to be better overall than most other fast food joints. At least it’s still fairly easy to accumulate crowns.

A few years back I hated the app so much I deleted it & haven’t visited a Subway since.

However, at that discount, I’m willing to try Subway again & be lured back. And actually ordering on my laptop would be (I think) just as easy. A new Subway recently opened up just a couple blocks from me. Thx.

Website tends to be a little easier if you are doing it on a larger screen (PC, 10" tablet, etc). Just log in as you would into the app, account credentials s/b the same. Otherwise they’re pretty much the same in terms of selecting your sandwich, customizing, checking out, etc.

Now we just need the Chase AARP 5% cashback on everything for 6 months deal.

The 12% expires today (8/18/24).

All those batteries, I just cleaned out a big box of them, more than 50% were leaking ( in unopened packages). Thank goodness I quit buying them more than a year ago.

If they’re not expired yet you can reach out to the manufacturer to get a replacement. Also they’re good for staples recycling. Will at the minimum get you a $10 off $30

If the batteries are leaking Duracell will send you a coupon that you can use in the store. No need to return the leaking batteries. However, when you get your free batteries with the coupon, you’ll have to pay sales tax for the second time, at least where I live in California.
