Just want to use my rewards. No stock on the shelf, but online shows 4. Manager at local branch is an a$$ and will falsely claim zero inventory on FAR items even when they have it. So in my case, I might order w. CC online for pick up, then just cancel/re-buy in store to use up rewards.

Moto has a reputation for being slow when it comes to rolling out Android updates. I have the Moto G4 Play and I am still awaiting the promised Android Nougat update, despite Nougat being released in August, 2016. In addition, I got the August 2017 Android critical security update a few weeks ago, so about 3 months after it was released.

That said, this is an issue for most non-Google Android phone manufacturers and comes with the territory if you buy a non-Google or non-Samsung flagship phone.

By the way, I do like the (G4 Play) phone and think it was a good value for the price.

@vegasvegan I receive seller promotions that aren’t useful. I don’t sell that much, maybe $6k a year. Don’t have a store. Don’t list enough to make it worthwhile. I really dislike eBay promotional emails so have opted out of as much as possible. That’s probably why I don’t receive email offers but when I check my acct I don’t see offers for eBay bucks to activate either.

@my4mainecoons I never received the bonus bonus bucks promos either until I enabled receipt of promotional emails. There is no such thing as the specific activation for receipt of eBay bucks offers… you have to agree to receive all offers in that group. I’m not a seller, so I do not have seller email promotions enabled like VegasVegan. What I enabled was “eBay surveys and research” and “General email promotions.” You probably only need the second one but someone recommended both to get bonus bucks promos and I’ve never tested that theory. Since enabling them, I get about 98% of the bonus bucks offers.

Thanks @VegasVegan, I finally got why some people get the seller + buyer offers and others like me only get the buyer offers (you have to enable the seller promos too).

Getting the $5 bonus was a little unclear to me, but pretty simple. I already have a DD account, their app, and a card with some credit on it.

First issue was getting Masterpass set up. I pulled an inactive Citi Mastercard that looked good, but it was rejected from setup via masterpass.com. The message was crazy, because as I read it, it told me only Citi Mastercards were eligible, and that if I had a Citi Visa or Amex I could sign up with that instead. Either I or that error page missed some words, maybe my flavor of Mastercard was not eligible. So then I thought to try my Visa daily spender (Alliant) and Masterpass took it.

Getting a new card via the desktop seemed to have a $5 minimum, but via the app only $2. So I signed up there, and it immediately reflected the bonus amount. Merged the cards, DD app crashed and restarted itself, and it had merged my balances onto one card correctly.

Win 7 capable.

I would hold out for the higher-specced Amazon Fire HD 10 on Black Friday for $99 from multiple retailers.
