I got my first $4.99 Disney+ streaming credit, so I am set to get a full year of Disney+ snd Hulu free thanks to Am Ex, and a $5 MM thanks to Rakuten.

$3 is a fairly big spend to get a free item. I know months ago they raised it from one dollar to three dollars.
I think you can count on $3 as being the going rate. Doubt we’re ever gonna see a $1 minimum again.
Sometimes they have a one dollar minimum when they have food prizes during their games but yes, I agree at three dollar minimum will probably be the rate going forward most of the time.

@mrvietnam Nice! I don’t recall the previous years’ offers but there must’ve been something for me to have always used my Amex Blue Cash for a Disney+ subscription.
The one thing that I’m not sure about is if this American Express credit you get back every month is only for one year or it could be ongoing for several years.

Do you think the Walmart offer will work if you buy a Walmart gift card? I know when Chase has a Walmart cashback offer that if I buy a gift card I get the cash back… I get my gas at Sam’s Club so it would be kind of nice having a discount on gas.

@mrvietnam I posted 6% and up to $7 so where did $4.99 come from? BTW, in the Amex T&C it says that it can take up to 8 weeks for the credit to post.
Score. Now my Disney+ charge has posted, I just received a confirmation e-mail from Am Ex saying I earned a Disney streaming credit of $4.99, but it could take up to 8 weeks to post. So it looks like I will be making a free year of Disney+ and Hulu after all. Plus a $5 MM thanks to Rakuten. Anyone with a Blue Cash Everydsy Card should replicate while you got the chance and the Black Friday sale is still going on. It’s not every day you can score a free year Disney+ and Hulu…

I signed up for this offer last night and this morning I see I have five dollars pending cash back on Rakuten. Evidently this $4.99 offer qualified me for the Disney+ Hulu bundle basic which pays five dollars, so my first month will be free, even if I don’t continue it later on. I’ll wait until the charge posts on my American Express blue every day card and then wait a few more days to see if the five dollar credit gets posted by American Express or not. If it does this deal could wind up being a year of free Disney+ and Hulu and a five dollar MM…
Why are you expecting $5 from Amex?
Well, actually $4.99 because of the benefits that the Am Ex Blue Everyday card has and that you posted about earlier. It’s no big deal though. If the Am Ex $4.99 credit doesn’t materialize I will just cancel after one month and it will still be free for that one month thanks to Rakuten. I don’t really need either Disney+ nor Hulu and I was just planning to get it if it was free…

From Google AI:
single Chipotle meal like a burrito or bowl typically costs between $11 and $14, but prices vary significantly based on location, menu item, and add-ons like guacamole or queso. For example, a chicken burrito or bowl might be around $13.45, while a kid’s meal costs closer to $6.50-$7.75.
