@dangeruss Which tire do you have that is loud? My summer tires are Michelin Defenders and they seem quiet to me.
However, my winter tires are studded Hakkapeliitas so almost anything is quieter. When I had AWD my winter tires were Michelin X-Ice. They were great.
I think I have the defenders now. They are not too loud, but pretty sure they’re louder than the Premier’s which is what I had before.
Defenders are rated for 80K miles, while the Premiers are only 50k or something. Actually seems like neither Costco nor BJs carries the Premiers anymore, or at least they don’t come up for my car.
@dangeruss That’s what I thought but if it is then its complicated math. I couldn’t figure out how they calculated it.
Well the store I ordered from has a lower tax rate. I actually had 2 orders a few days apart, only the second order got partially refunded, the first order was fully refunded the day I was going to go get it.
I can’t believe it. They gave me a $36.63 refund. They said that they would refund $15 x 2 but they refunded the entire price of my 2nd order including tax, $36.63. Glad I “splurged” on the $34 case of cat food. Ended up paying $26.71 (incl.tax) for $63.34 (incl. tax) cat food. 🐈
Probably easier for them then issuing a $30 promotional credit
Woodmans is having a grand opening nearby on Sept. 2.
They qualify for this promo as a “small business” though they look like a Target Superstore with gas and auto services.
I’ll be buying Cascade Platinum 48 ct pods $12.88 and Glide multipack $7.88.
