Get this. I placed the CVS order and then I went to do some errand, including Kmart. While at Kmart I saw they had marked down (near expiring) 12.4 ounce boxes of Cheez-Its Duoz (sharp cheddar and parmesan in the box) for $0.99, so I picked up 5 of them. I just called CVS and tried to cancel my order. They will email the warehouse. If it gets canceled great. If not, I can live with it, too. Off topic, but the trip to Kmart proved to be a good stop. Not only did I get 5 boxes of 12.4 ounce Cheez-Its Duoz, I also got a receipt coupon for $5 off a $5 purchase.
@MrVietnam you can return them to a CVS store for a refund. if you paid with extra bux, they’ll likely just spit out an ECB for the return.
OK. Good. I didn’t know CVS stores taken online returns. That is what I will end up doing, if my cancellation request doesn’t materialize, as I got the much larger boxrs for the same price elsewhere.
@ctgolfer Bosch makes top-notch power tools, but I’ve found their bits aren’t so hot (YMMV).
Another set to consider at Lowe’s is a Kobalt 43-piece set, designed for “speed fit” chucks. The quality of these bits is surprisingly good. I’m seeing it for $7.18 at stores near me, at least those that still have it. Brickseek
@ctgolfer I can’t recall how long it lasts (6 mo maybe?) but you can just sign up for 5¢ off per gallon at Shell using one of their Fuel Rewards cards and you can use any cc or Shell gift card.
Exxon/Mobil replaced Plenti with a new gas rewards program that gives you 15¢ back on every gallon for 30 days after you activate one of their cards. All you need is an email address. The 15¢/gallon gets added to the card and each time you swipe it, it asks if you want to use it. There’s also $1 sign up bonus. I use the card for a month, end up with about $12 on it, use that for gas and move on…
