Is there a limit to how many Sam’s Club memberships a household can have? I may have other family members join just for the MM aspect of it. Sure wish Costco had good membership deals like their competitor.

I got the GC also, but it was today. As dangerruss says, ti’s coming from Snipps and does land in the spam.

It’s better to save up your money for a decent bicycle even a used one.

Closing stores are also offering 25% off all merchandise, with reports of 50% off on alcohol in at least one store (other stores excluded alcohol purchases from the sale). Gift cards are excluded in some stores and the discount applies to some gift cards at other stores. Expect big lines and the sales started yesterday so most of the better stuff might have already sold out. Some other exclusions mentioned by readers (note this will vary from store to store by the sounds of it):

Tires
Fuel
Gift cards
Prescription drugs
Phone contracts
Alcohol

Store representatives have also stated that they will be increasing the discounts as the store closure dates come closer to ensure all stock is sold (e.g it doesn’t look like they will be moving stock to unaffected locations).

I just called and the rep wanted me to send her, via e-mail, a copy of the e-mail I received from Sam’s Club when I started my new membership, which was no problem. She said she would call me back within 48 hours to let me know the status.

My local walmart put one in. Have to scan the freeosk app, then it spits out a sample. First time I got 2 multigrain bars, now it’s a striped candy.

Prints start at $0.14 so my best guess was less than $10

Lorenw’s list is NOT correct. For instance, Outback is not one of the gift cards subject to this promotion. If you go in the club there is a separate display with large approx. 8.5" by 11" cards that the cashier exchanges for the actual gift cards.

I was at Sam’s Club today in Fountain Valley, CA, and the freeosk had another sample, not Rice Kripie Treats. Maybe they are just slow about switching it out with the new sample. I will check again the next time I happen to visit.

@tonglu1 it worked for DH and me the last few years. His membership just expired and I’m suppose to get a “new” membership, I didn’t push through with it because the main reason we go to SC is to MS with their variable $500 MCGCs. Now that they carry only up to $250 variables, it’s not worth buying GCs there. Even if warehouse clubs become one of the bonus categories of major CCs, I still won’t buy GCs there.
