i dont trust TCB for the guarantee. Everytime I had missing CB, they denied it. I made a purchase and it tracked at a lower % than advertised, and they are giving me a hard time over a dollar.

They are the worst of the major CB sites in helping get you missing CB. Always an excuse, I suggest reaming them on Trust Pilot.

Rakuten and RMN are excellent in recovering and honoring missing CB.

@kimi the $5/$25 should be in the weekly circular. One of my stores has a sign on the gc kiosk promoting the 4x points on Saturdays & Sundays. It’s been a regular thing for a while. It isn’t available to activate until after 12AM on Saturdays and disappears on Sunday nights.

OAN, I recently used 8+ small value rebate gc to buy a Chewy gc to earn 4x points. IDK if there’s a register limit on # of gc the register will accept. Some of the gc were $5 Shaw’s eGC from P&GGE so one can still use store gc to buy 3rd party gc.

I skipped the last one and might skip this one too. I don’t need any of the gc available. I’d like one for Shaw’s/Albertsons but they don’t sell them. They don’t have gas gc either.

Thanks for this. Hadn’t used TCB in quite awhile because I got tired of deals not tracking. Had a clearance item for $15.99 in my Walmart cart I hadn’t pulled the trigger on. See the cash back and bonus as pending.

You are lucky to have had the 10X. I only get 10X offers on select GCs, such as Domino’s pizza, Google Play. For me, 4X is a good offer.

I just remembered that I have box of (FAR) home design software that I never opened; it’s probably for XP. I have an XPP machine that can no longer go online but it’s fine for things that have discs.

I went with Home Depot.
Just bought tomato plants and was shocked to find I didn’t have a HD gc to pay for them!

I mostly use the $5 off $15 and $10 off $20 coupons in conjunction with the gift cards I get from TCB to buy clearances food items. One time I saw Oreo cookies on clearance for 25 cents a package. I bought about 20 packages of Oreos. Usually the closer the food items get to expiration, the cheaper they mark them down. I have scored some great deals over the years. Just the other day I bought about 20 single serve cups of cinnamon Chex cereal for 5 cents each. Another time I got Sparkling Ice drinks for 10 cents each. I could go on snd on.

I’ve been using Open Shell for years. I started off with Classic Shell then in 2017 the developer of that one said he had decided to stop maintaining it and proceeded to release the source code. Open Shell has been the most popular spin off I think. I’ve been happy enough all of these years to not look for anything else that would do the same thing.

@mtnagel I own QuickBooks Pro 2019 on disc. I used QB Pro 2000 for 18 years. Having a disc means no annual subscription fees. It also means that I can install it on my new machine. I miss having software on discs.

I haven’t done it in forever, but you can convert the CD to ISO that you can run from your computer without needing the CD/drive in the future.

Thanks. Here in Montpelier we handle massive amounts of snow & ice, not as often water. It’s rained everyday since early June so the ground was already saturated. It continues to rain at least once every 24hrs.

~$2 at Shaw’s depending on what you get. Possibly cheaper in your area because there are more options. You are in Zone 9 and have a much longer growing season vs Zone 3 with short season here.

Yes, I had it, last day to redeem. Got the shreds of the Violife, store was already wiped out of the herbs, but may try another store later today as we use their garlic variety, very handy to have around when you don’t have fresh garlic on hand.

It’s really easy to make your own emergency garlic. I often ended up composting leftover fresh garlic. In oil is the only safe way to freeze garlic. I put peeled cloves in (canola) oil using a baby food size jar. Oil thaws very quickly at room temp. Glass doesn’t absorb garlic like plastic would. Remove the jar from the freezer, let the oil melt, remove what you need, back into the freezer.
