There were worse rebate processors. Staples rebates were fine, especially after switching to electronic submission.

Robinhood, while they made a really bad decision, hopefully saved a lot of people from financial disaster. Good old principle never seems to fail, “buy on the rumor and sell on the news”. So when most people got the news, the were fodder for the early guys.

Few people might have jumped in late and made money on the volatility - but that is like crapshoot - they could have lost it too - I have seen the market turn with no news on some securities and then not recover.

Fortunately the people who buy this stuff at my yard sale don’t read PhW.
I don’t like wipes because they generate waste so I use a spray bottle with water & bleach.
I spray solid surfaces and let them air dry which takes more than 4 minutes.
I use alcohol based products on my hands.

Another set of $10/$10 came out. Some people received a new code for same email. I received a new code for a different email than the first ones.

I also received (different email address) $15/$60 with the usual exclusions.

Placed 5 orders at kiosk yesterday and they were just delivered! Wow, that was easy!

We never extend interest free loans to the gummint.

I had 25¢ back on grapes. I bought 4 grapes for 10¢ and earned the 25¢.

Why not just buy 1 grape?

One grape probably would have been too light for the scale to record.
From past experience I know that 1 green bean or 1 mushroom are too light for the scale.
One grape is probably close to a mushroom or a green bean.
There’s no way to check the weight before I get to the register.
2 cherries are 6¢ and since grapes are lighter than cherries I thought 4 grapes would be close to 6¢. But the grapes were juicy/heavy so I ended up paying 10¢

I’m still using the paper I got for 1 cent a team after rebate and will be using that paper for many years to come.

Do they restock these quickly enough if sales last 2 weeks. I often find these sell out rather quickly if they don’t have a boatload on the shelf prior to the sale.

I just got a new Chase Sapphire at the beginning of the month. Spend $4k in 90 days get $800 in pts. I thought easy, just get gc . Then WM shut down m.o. conversions. But I’ll probably get the Visa cards at Shaw’s for the $3 in free groceries. I might even get the piddly $50’s which are a break even just to increase my spend towards the $800 sign up bonus. I would prefer not to do it at Staples because I get 5% back on Chase Ink at Staples.

@mistercheap AFAIK the coupon policy is 4 like that will double but if they’re not doubling there’s no limit. Also, sometimes the mq and J4u DD. It did when I bought Hellman’s several months ago. Had J4u and mq both come off. I can’t recall if they q’s were the same value but it was a nice surprise.

That’s presuming you’re using a q.com q. When you said “BUT since the IP policy is limit 4 like coupons” I thought you were referring to the store policy.

The q on Q.com is new. When I started buying the item in the OP the ip did not exist so I was buying one at a time using just the J4u.

eta: I rarely use ip’s so I hadn’t noticed the L4 on Q.com’s. Now I can’t even print from Q.com.

Luckily even though I sold about 90 cases of cheap paper, I kept about 5 cases to use in my printer so I wouldn’t have to buy more at regular price.

Good advice on WM and money orders. The local WM doesn’t let me purchase MOs with prepaid debit. One per day may not be worth it, and I don’t make it a habit of cashing more than one or two MOs per month, and always with other checks I need to cash. This rate of money order cashing never raised an eyebrow at my local bank.

My intro level Fire tablet is sock drawered because it is so slow/under-powered, so I’m not surprised that the issue did turn out to be that it just took forever for the files to load. Kudos on finding a microSD card… that’s like finding money in your laundry pockets!

When I did it I changed CO51 email address. It was easy but that was a few years ago.
S* T&C says you have to contact CS to change email address and I’ve never tried.

Received an email from our Chief Information Officer in which he mentioned ongoing project of swapping out W7 machines since they were no longer supported.
I asked what they do with the machines. Could I buy one? Gave him specs I wanted: W7 with 64 bit, at least 8GB memory and 500GB HD. Small form factor preferably.
"If it’s a PC that is end of life for us I would give one to you."

@zapjb I’d be bored if I retired. As for stocking up, I’m a coupon shopper with a stockpile. I have a year or more of food and supplies on hand all the time. When my sister asked if I had any hand sanitizer I shipped her a couple of containers of sanitizing hand wipes. Last weekend my neighbor needed mayonnaise. I have an annual sale to rotate the stock so most of it is less than a year old but I have cases of toilet paper, Kleenex and Clorox wipes left over from last year’s sale.

This would be a good thing for me to use some of my ink rewards money on. Every month when I want to spend my ink rewards it is hard for me to find anything worthy of buying at Staples.because of their greatly inflated prices, but stuff on sale like this is a good use of the rewards IMHO.
