  Excellent question. I am wondering about that too as I am signed up for both Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars.

  It’s separate. Each company, though all three are under the Prodege umbrella of ownership, is distinct from one another. I got the $600 warning from SB but not from MP when I tried to do my final redemption of the year on each.

  Op, I see your point. I try not to shop at Kohls often. I hate that they require you to spend the KC asap and that KC gets applied before any % off coupons. Since Kohl’s prices are pretty inflated, applying KC before % off coupons basically means you are buying the item at an inflated price.

  But I think store credit works more like a GC than KC so I wouldn’t feel too cheated.

  EDIT: From reading the article, no, it does not list locations they plan to close. They are probably still figuring that out. There are a lot of Rite Aids in my area. Within a 5 miles radius of my house there are around 8 Rite Aid stores.

  So just a heads up, if you haven’t already received spam from this breach you might be ok. I have seen quite a few show up in my spam folder the past few weeks.

  Today’s spam even had gmail’s “-This message was sent from a trusted sender.” in the traditional gmail green highlighted typeface and lettering. Obviously everything else about it was fake (sender, insecure message warning from the sender, and random numbers in the email domains and email sender) so it got sent to the spam folder automatically, but be on the lookout.

  I’m still peeved about T-Mobile leaking all of this anyway. If T-Mobile really had SSNs and drivers licenses all on display, geez…

  As MISTERCHEAP said, the cost of buying ink cartridges on eBay has gone up. I’d love to be able to get 300 for $50 to $60 as I haven’t found a deal like that in several months. As long as I can still manage to accumulate $80 every 2 months, I can manage to spend $80 at one time to stockpile toner cartridge, printer paper, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. With my toner cartridges running about $87 each, if my investment is the cost of 40 empty cartridges and $10 (two months of the cost of buying ink to qualify to redeem 20 a month), I’m still doing well. I don’t like the change to having to use all of the reward at one time, but I can live with it. Just hope they don’t make any other changes.

  I just chatted and CSR gave me the info which I wasn’t able to find on the site.
  In the process I was told "The credit for August will be issued no later than 09/08/2021."
  That’s pretty early but means that it can stack with the Rewards expiring 9-15 and 9-30.

  It looks like the unsolicited email about returning items was only for an order where items were out of stock.

  People do what they’re comfortable doing. When I placed my orders it occurred to me that I could order anything on the site for crazy high price. That was out of my comfort zone. Others have a wider zone.

  Anyway, its another week and I’m working on my RA.com orders.

  I didn’t receive my Ink Recycling Rewards. I recycled later in the month: 3/27. Just chatted. I gave rep the receipt number and I’m supposed to have the Rewards in 3 business days. We’ll see.

  Last month (?) I made an online purchase using 2 Rewards checks. I cancelled the order within 30 minutes. CSR said I’d receive both Rewards checks back. Only one came back. Chatted. They said they’d re-issue the missing Rewards check. It didn’t happen. Chatted again. It was finally re-issued.

  I’ve had such problem. Thanks for advice! I wanted to order a Wonder Woman costume with Adult Superhero Cape. But then I remembered that I have a gift card and I can use it. This is the first time I’ve ever had a card like this and I didn’t know how to use it, so your advice helped me a lot. Thank you. Now I’m thinking, I would like to get another gift card like this as soon as possible. This is very beneficial. And I can also participate in some contests and communicate with people. Very cool.   It’s a puzzling strategy honestly.

  The current arrangement allows pre-sensitive shoppers (us) to get the best deal with a sale Kohl’s wouldn’t otherwise get vs most (unsavvy) shoppers getting occasional deals.

  I only buy when I can stack but as a retail exec I’m highly confident I’m still a profitable Kohl’s shopper when I do convert. Unlike now, when I’m unlikely to shop there at all.

  If I had to guess, I’d say this will be unwound well before Christmas.

  Might as well report it even if you’re under the $600 limit. Most people are taking the standard deduction these days anyway. It’s an even better idea to break down your ebay income with expenses, as mentioned for a side business for ebay.

  Unless you have a main job with taxes withheld, and any additional income from swagbucks or ebay would cause you to not get a bigger refund or if you have to mess with your withholdings.

  Keeping track of ebay income is relatively simple. Spreadsheets are free from Google Docs (personally, I pay for and use Office 365, but whatever floats your boat.)

  They must have fixed the glitch. Now I do not believe it has to be a single $5+ item, but rather any amount of items that add up to at least $5. I did the offer twice (on two J4U accounts). One time I got a $2.65 blueberry muffin and a $2.45 chocolate chip cookie and the $5 discount came off leaving me to only pay a dime. The next order I got 2 brownies for $2.95 each and the $5 came off and I only had to pay 90 cents OOP. Actually the brownies were marked as being $2.75 each, but rang up at $2.95 each, so I paid an extra 40 cents due to their pricing mistake. The cashier said there was nothing she could do about it, but the manager came in an hour or two. I thought not worth the trouble just for 40 cents.

  @ctujackbauer At this point I’d be curious to see a list of Sears and Kmart stores that are still operating and have NOT announced a closing date. It certainly was a “deal ride” during their SYWR points era, especially during the free shipping phase, points “rolling” offers, and so on. Hard to believe that business model didn’t pan out, lol.

  Our local Kmart store has been shuttered/vacant about 3 years now, and currently has a big tent set up in the parking lot that serves as an area Covid-19 vaccine center. Part of the New Normal I guess.

  To be fair, I accomplished most of the things while waiting for the kids to come back from TKD and/or driving, so I did not spend too much extra time on it. I’ve also never PMed at HD before, so at least it was nice to know the process and issues. It might help in future deals.

  Honestly, I probably spent less time on this than it would’ve taken me to actually go to a physical store, so I think it’s a win. I also wanted to use my HD gc, which I’m sure I bought at some discount previously, and I’ve accomplished that.

  It was very annoying that the reps wouldn’t straight up match menards. I wonder if it’s because the product was so much lower there (and way below MAP).

  Also I learned today that maybe the wicks I have right now aren’t so bad, but just need some maintanence.

  The pistachios were something like $4.59. I called the 800 number and talked to someone overseas who I couldn’t get the message through to of the difference between $2.00 versus $200.00. Oh well…

  Just ask him where you can buy a 7oz bag of pistachios for $200. Then ask for a supervisor and tell them you will be reporting them for false adverting. Contact BBB and CPB.
